Hello Cecil Intermediate!!

This is our last week before Christmas vacation!!  I'm sure you are all super-excited to have over a week off!!  I hope you are enjoying your book selections from last week...remember we will select new books again as soon as we come back from vacation.

This week we are having a lesson, but don't worry, it is a fun lesson.  That is all I will say...I will let it be a surprise.

Hello Cecil Intermediate!!

This week we will be selecting new books.  It will be our last book selection before Christmas vacation!!!  Please make sure you have your books to return so you can check out new books to have over vacation!!

We got a new shipment of non-fiction books that are ready to be checked out!!  That's another great reason to return your books, so you can check out something new!!

Hello Cecil Intermediate!

This week we are having a lesson in library!  Both 5th and 6th grade will be learning about and using different online reference sources.  Reference sources always come in handy...they are things like dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, and almanacs. The more familiar you are with using theses types of sources, the more quickly you can find the information and answers you need!

Welcome Back Cecil Intermediate!!

I hope you all had a great break!  If you're like me, you wish it could have been longer : )  But here we are back at school, so we are going to make the best of it.  I got a shipment of new books last week, and they are ready to be checked out!!!!  We will be checking out new books this week, so I hope you all take advantage of looking through the new selection of books for the library!

Week of 11.19

Happy Thanksgiving Cecil Intermediate!!

Because of the holiday break, I will only be seeing 3 classes this week.  For our lesson, we will just be completing Thanksgiving word searches and continuing to read our novels, No Talking and Woods Runner. 

Don't forget, next week when we return after the break, we will be selecting new books.  So please make sure to bring them with you so you can select new books!!

Hello CIS!!!

This week is a book selection week, so don't forget to bring your books with you to library!!

Many of you have already made Wish List requests, and many of them I have already added to my next order!  Thanks so much for your input.  I received an email today that my last book order just shipped.  Hopefully it will be here by the end of the week!  I will get the books ready to be put on the shelves as quickly as I can. 

I have also approved many reviews for books we have in the library.  I'm so happy that you are writing about the books you've read.  It is such as exciting feature and I'm glad to see you using it!
